There are many Indian festivals which are in tune with a farmers lifestyle and also with the seasonal variations in an year. Pongal, the harvest festival of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu is one of them.

Some students also go to library and read newspaper there. In games period we play football, volley ball, etc. Girl students play ring ball too.

In addition to above Fairs and Festivals, three heritage festivals at Amritsar, Patiala, Kapurthala are also celebrated every year and are very popular among the tourists.
